This section of Manitoba Physical Activity Safety in Schoolshas been developed for school and school board administrators. The section includes the duties of care, checklists, and resources specific to administrator roles in ensuring the health and safety of their students during physical activity.
A designate can be a vice-principal, another teacher, department head, or athletic director. A principal may assign a task to a designate based on school board policy/contractual stipulations.
