Description
The Outside Activity Provider must adhere to the school division/school protocols. For example:
- The activity provider must provide proof of recent criminal reference check.
- The activity provider must provide evidence of knowledge, expertise, and certification (where applicable) of the activity to be provided.
- The activity provider must agree to abide by the requirements of the Manitoba Physical Activity Safety in Schools outlined on the relevant activity safety page(s). In a situation where the activity provider enforces a higher standard, their standard will apply.
- The activity provider must be able to accommodate students with additional needs and medical conditions.
- The activity provider must outline to students/teachers the risks associated with the activity and procedures to minimize the risks.
