On occasion an Outside Activity Provider may not be able to provide certified lifeguards for an aquatic based activity.  In these instances, and only on the approval of the Outside Activity Provider, schools or school divisions may be allowed to hire a certified lifeguard.

It is recommended that the hired lifeguard complete the fillable PDF Lifeguard Contract and a copy of the contract be kept by both the school/school division and the lifeguard.
